Kerri Johannsen

Bio

Kerri Johannsen has a B.A. in Political Science from Gustavus Adolphus College, and M.S. in Public Policy, Science, Technology, and Environmental Policy from the University of Minnesota. She has also studied Political Economy at the University of York and was Visiting Researcher at the Florence School of Regulation in 2024. Kerri has worked as Policy Staff for the US Senate Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition, and Forestry, a Policy Advocate with the Environmental Law & Policy Center, Executive

  Provide strategic direction and oversight across IEC's three program areas: Energy, Water, and Climate Initiatives. In this role I supervise and motivate program leaders with a priority on creating a culture that emphasizes accountability, humanity, and humility and allows individuals to do what they do best. I work with funders and executive leadership to take our work to the next level and to communicate with policymakers and the bigger world about how to best take on critical issues.
