Bio

Nour El Houda is an experienced engineer with a master’s degree in renewable energies. She completed several internships in the energy sector, where she built her green skills and deepened her understanding of energy and power systems. Since 2023, she has been working with GIZ Algeria as a technical advisor. She has been involved in the TaqatHy project+, mainly collaborating with the Ministry of Energy and other policymakers.   As a technical advisor, from junior to senior level, I had the chance to work closely with policymakers to support the integration of the planned 15 GW of renewable energy into the electricity grid. I’m also managing the interconnection file and working on other topics to promote green electricity in Algeria and help enable its export. Before, I was part of the TaqatHy project, and now I’m working on TaqatHy+, which focuses on green hydrogen, renewable energy, and energy efficiency.
